I played the Battlestar Galactica board game tonight for the first time and loved it. My character was “Boomer,” the pilot, and she turned out to be a sleeper Cylon. Doh! And “Chief” even tried to help her escape from the brig. Such fun!

I picked up my new glasses today. I love the dark red frames and the pretty pink case. Plus, I can see better! That means my photos will get better, right?
A robin sits in a tree in Bellevue’s Lake Hills neighborhood. We see a lot of robins around this area.
My husband and I walked to Phantom Lake, a few blocks from our home in Bellevue, on this cloudy afternoon. We saw ducks diving in the water and a flock of blackbirds flying high above them.
I used the digital macro setting on my camera to get a close-up of the last bloom on my Christmas cactus. My dad gave me this plant about five years ago, but this winter was the first time it bloomed. I think it likes the bright light from the kitchen window in our new home.
My pet bunnies love playing on the couch. Rosie is sitting in a little round basket with a towel she had been digging at while Radagast hides behind her.
