The top of the Expedia tower provides a beautiful view of downtown Bellevue, especially on a clear day such as this one. This photo includes the green field at Bellevue Downtown Park, the Lincoln Square expansion construction, and part of Lake Washington and Seattle in the distance.
We bought a loaf of chocolate babka bread from Goldberg’s Famous Deli in Factoria. The dark chocolate makes this bread a winner in my house.
My husband and I planted a Korean dogwood tree in our front yard today. Unfortunately, we found a thin layer of red lava rock and a sheet of black plastic beneath our lawn. We poked holes in the plastic and added lots of compost around the tree’s roots. Hopefully, with proper care, the tree will survive.
The parking attendants at my office gave carnations to the female employees in celebration of Valentine’s Day. I received a pretty peach one!
My husband gave me a beautiful bouquet of tulips today. I took a bunch of photos in an attempt to capture their beauty. I like the angle of this shot the best. It seems the most fun!
My husband and I stopped by the Bellevue Nursery after work, but unfortunately it had already closed for the day. I spied these sunny daffodils through the gate and had to snap a picture. Spring is coming!

Seeing red? That’s Khador’s signature color! These Man-O-War Bombardiers are quite the painting project. But they will be a nice addition to my Warmachine army once they’re finished.
My sister helped me pick paint colors for the interior of my house today. We chose cool blues for the bedrooms, sunny yellow for the bathroom, and warm browns for the living and dining room.
